Majaoja Percussion Competition - Tampere Finland 2024

The Majaoja Percussion Competition Jury has awarded the prizes for all the Categories, with four prizes being awarded in Categories A and B and five prizes in Category C:

Category A:
I Jakub Krawczyk, prize 5000 Euros
II Jingxue Ren and Ion Delić, prizes 2000 Euros to each
III Glenn Choe, prize 1500 Euros

Category B:
I Alex Biró, prize 2000 Euros
II Zuzanna Polończyk and Sihan Shen, prizes 1000 Euros each
III Efe Sağıroğluları, prize 500 Euros

The jury also awarded a special prize to the young talent Justus Hautakangas, mallets from percussion.fi

Category C:
I Ege Basabak, prize 400 Euros
II Ole-Jakob Innervik and Hiroto Sahi, prizes 200 Euros each
III Paul Eensaar and Joonatan Lappalainen, prizes 100 Euros each

Hearty congratulations to the winners of the categories and warm thanks to all the competitors. You made this a true celebration of percussion!

Majaoja Percussion Competition is held in Tampere at the Pyynikkisali of the Tampere Conservatoire from the 26th to the 28th of September. Entry to the events and the concert is free for the audiences.

International Judges Se-Mi Hwang and Johan Bridger and the Majaoja Percussion Group perform in Pyynikkisali.

Friday 27.9.
